A patio rarely needs replacing. Nine times out of ten what has gone is the jointing, and that is a much smaller job than lifting the lot.

Moss, dirt, algae and years of built up grime, all of it lifted out of the joints before anything new goes in.

Modern resin jointing compound gives a clean, professional finish, and it is designed to stay that way rather than wash out in a year.

The products we use
We use ProJoint professional grade products
Not the tubs you find in a DIY shop. ProJoint is a professional range, and the reason we use it is that there is a different product in it for each kind of paving rather than one compound sold for everything.
Which one we use on your patio depends on what the paving is, how wide the joints are and how much traffic it takes. We work that out on site before we start, and we will tell you what we are putting down and why.

Whatever your patio is made of
We re-grout all types of tiles and paving. The product and the method change with the material, and using the wrong one is why re-grouting sometimes fails within a season.
Indian sandstone
Porous and irregular, so the joints move about. Needs a compound that flexes and a slower, careful fill.
Porcelain
Tight, narrow joints and a surface that stains easily if the wrong product is left on it.
Block paving
Hundreds of small joints. Usually a kiln dried sand or a jointing compound depending on the traffic it takes.
Natural stone
Limestone, granite, slate and travertine all behave differently and none of them like being scrubbed the same way.
Concrete slabs
The most common patio in the North West, and usually the one with the worst joints by the time we see it.
Old or mixed paving
Patios that have been patched over the years. We work out what is there before we pick a product.
